Fleece Blanket Pattern

This is the fleece blanket pattern we've been making. They have turned out really nice (although I'm having some difficulty with the one I'm working on right now)! I'm excited about getting the others finished up for Christmas...they make great gifts!!! Usually my mom and I can get one almost done during a napping period (3 hours) if you get the pre-printed ones (which are about $20-$30 so pretty costly in my opinion) then you can get those done within an hour or so!  The pattern calls for 2 yards and that makes one large enough for an adult.  If you would like to make one the size of a toddler bed or a baby blanket...I use 1 1/2 yards.  This fits perfect for little people!!!

Fleece Blanket Pattern-NO SEWING NECESSARY!!!

So...now that Christmas is over you can see how many fleece blankets I made!!!  These are 4 of the blankets I made...I also had one more that I did not photograph.

Because of poor cutting at the fabric store (which is really annoying but worked in my favor this time) I was able to make a really nice pillow to match the blanket.  This was for my mother-in-law who really loved the blanket and the pillow!!

These are so awesome! I hate sewing, but I think I could do this. My son needs a new blanket anyway. He's outgrown the baby sized ones, but is still in a toddler-bed, so a twin size is too big. This would be perfect.

Sarah...it's super easy!!! If you want it for a toddler bed use 2 yards of each color and measure 4 inches from the bottom for the fringe and make them 1 inch apart. The fleece fabric at JoAnn's is usually on sale every month at some point $4.99, if you get solid colors! Last weekend for New Year's they were on sale for $3.99 so I stocked up!! Hope this works and please send a link or a picture when you get it made!!!
