I am constantly trying to figure out how to decorate and update our little home. One room that we've decided to leave the way we found it is our main bathroom. I lovingly call it "Pinkie". The work that went into this bathroom is amazing but they picked pink and black! When the home was built in 1951 it was probably a very hip and trendy bathroom...and well we've decided to keep it this way!!!
When you first enter our bathroom you not only see the lovely pink and black tile but the fantastic PINK and WHITE flamingo shower curtain. This is our one and only bathroom upstairs so I also wanted to make it fun for the kiddos...I love it!
This is our small sink and medicine cabinet. When I lived in NYC I pick up a few black and white photos which I really like in our bathroom. The one in the first picture is NY Yankees Stadium and this is one of the Brooklyn Bridge...which also has the building I actually lived in the background!
EVERYTHING is pink, black or white...even the small floor tile.
At first some people would really hate this bathroom but my only complaint is that it is tiny, and our main bathroom! We're working on storage issues but thankfully I'm the only girl in the house so I can make it work!!! I said I love PINK and I'm looking for more ways to be girlie...buying a house with a PINK bathroom...it does combine both of these areas!!!
