Pantry...revisited!

Ok everyone...I have to admit...my pantry got OUT OF CONTROL the last couple weeks.  I have been really going through and using our pantry but because of that I sometimes just don't put things back where they go?!  (No one ever really does that right?)

So here is the before:

 now let me explain what I am dealing with...my pantry is off the floor and goes up past the ceiling (this is the only way to get into our attic crawl space).  So...instead of just having one big closet I put in two of the metal shelves we didn't know what we were going to do with...they have worked out great!

 While taking this picture I also noticed that well I'm an amazing wife...see the blue box in the back...yup bought that for the hubs!  (It's the the Blue Label Johnny Walker (ICK) but my hubs has wanted it and well...it was a gift...but well you can figure out how much that bad boy set me back!)  This would be our booze shelf...I'm excited because I'm hoping to maybe host a "STOCK THE BAR" party for my 35th birthday this year...wouldn't that be an awesome present...just bottles of liquor!

 Ok...so the way I decided to get this orgainzed was to remove EVERYTHING I could and put it on our kitchen table.  This is what that mess looked like:

 It took me about 45 minutes but it was the best 45 minutes I've had in a long time.  I've not been able to do much around the house with my broken foot and well...it was awesome to feel such a sense of accomplishment by getting this all orgainzed.  (I had gone grocery shopping the day before so that's why it's soooo stocked!)

I have not let ANYONE enter the pantry except me...we're not messin' up my 45 minutes of work!  I've been cookin' up a storm.  I cannot get enough kitchen time...so it was fun to have everything so orgainzed and easy to get to!  Kind of helpful that my spice rack was also still in the same condition, you can read more about that here.
